Spanish Hoofbeats DVD Series
Volume One: The Culture of the Spanish Horse
- Product Features:
-
- Rare footage! - very hard to find authentic footage of Spanish Horses in
Spain
- Learn by watching horses that fit breed standard in Spain
- Entertaining footage of horses
- Great gift for yourself or a friend
- Digital footage, about 60 minutes, plays on most computers and DVD players
This DVD is essentially the same as the DVDs we sold as "A La Garrocha Spanish
Lance Riding" and "Spanish Feria". However,
this DVD combines both features onto one DVD and has an interactive menu so that
you can click on the scene you want to watch.
The first part of this DVD includes performances by "Garrocha" and "Doma
vaquera" riders who ride at fast speeds in a reining style using traditional
Spanish tack and saddles. Different performances from basic to more advanced are
shown including a fantasic "reinless" ride.
The second part of this DVD covers the Feria in Spain. Anyone who loves fancy
dream horses will like this video. Tons of costumes and riders in traditional
outfits. This video footage was taped in Jerez, Spain, at the world famous Feria
and Spanish Riding school. Most of the footage is captured on the street with
the sound of horse shoes and jingle bells (from the carriages) as rider after
rider passes by the camera. Some very rare clips are included from the Spanish
riding school. Watch as hundreds of purebred Spanish horses, and some half breds
(hacas) parade and prance down the street.
Nice gift for the Spanish Andalusian, Lusitano, Friesian, Lipizzaner lover -
especially for the baroque breed lovers - Peruvian Paso and Paso Fino folks
should like it to. The Andalusian is the horse from Spain and his royal blood
runs in many of our modern horses including Quarter horses, Appaloosas, Paints,
mustangs, and some warmbloods.
